Inverted Paleo Apple Pie

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.

Add the coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Press the dough into the bottom of a greased 9-inch pie dish.

In a separate bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice and maple syrup.

Arrange the apple slices on top of the dough in the pie dish.

Sprinkle the pecans over the apples.

Cover the pie dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
