Ingredients
  • 150 gram Walnuts
  • 150 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 gram Unsalted butter, softened
  • 150 gram Granulated sugar
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 150 gram Plain yogurt
  • 30 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour four individual cake pans.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the walnuts until finely ground.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the ground walnuts, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the yogurt.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cake pans.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, dust the cakes with powdered sugar before serving.
