Ingredients
  • 250 gram Pie crust
  • 2 cup Sour cherries
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the sour cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
  4. Pour the cherry filling into the pie crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 2 hours.
  7. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled pie.
