  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until well combined.
  3. Divide the batter into 4 equal parts.
  4. Add different food coloring to each part and mix well.
  5. Grease and flour 4 round cake pans.
  6. Pour each colored batter into a separate cake pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cakes cool completely.
  9. Level the top of each cake layer.
  10. Place one cake layer on a serving plate and spread a thin layer of buttercream frosting on top.
  11. Repeat with the remaining cake layers, alternating colors.
  12. Once all the cake layers are stacked, cover the entire cake with a thin layer of buttercream frosting.
  13. Roll out the fondant and cover the cake with it.
  14. Decorate the cake with sprinkles and candies.
  15. Allow the cake to rest for at least 1 hour before serving.
  16. Cut into the cake to reveal the surprise inside!
