Horseradish Potato Shepherd’s Pie
Shepherd’s Pie is traditionally made with lamb, while Cottage Pie is made with beef. This recipe is a twist on the classic Shepherd’s Pie by adding horseradish for an extra kick of flavor.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the onion, carrot, and peas to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.

Stir in the beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, and horseradish sauce. Season with salt and pepper.

Simmer for 10 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly.

Meanwhile, peel and chop the potatoes. Place them in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are golden brown.
