  • 500 gram Apples
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 150 gram Unsalted butter
  • 150 gram Sugar
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 120 milliliter Milk
  • 50 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and honey.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Fold in the sliced apples.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
