  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated.
  4. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and pecans. Sprinkle half of this mixture over the batter in the pan. Spread the remaining batter evenly over the top, and then sprinkle the remaining brown sugar and pecan mixture over. Use a knife to swirl the batter slightly.
  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for about 1 hour.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the top of the cake. Cut into squares and serve.
