  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the honey, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just blended.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
