  2. Roll out the shortcrust pastry and line a greased pie dish.
  3. Peel and boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash.

  5. Add the mashed potatoes, grated Cheddar cheese, double cream, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to the pan. Mix well.
