Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Sunflower oil
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, sunflower oil, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, salt, and milk until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and sprinkle sunflower seeds on top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, dust the cake with powdered sugar before serving.
