  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and poke holes all over the top using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  6. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, making sure it fills the holes.
  7. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.
  8. Let the cake cool completely.
  9. Spread the whipped topping over the cooled cake.
  10. Sprinkle the crushed Heath candy bars on top.
