  2. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust. Dot with butter.
  5. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the apple filling. Trim and crimp the edges.
