Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and dried herbs.

Add the cold cubed butter to the dry ingredients and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Pour in the milk and stir until just combined.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together.

Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thickness.

Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
