Shepherd’s Pie is traditionally made with lamb, but this Halloween version uses ground beef for a spooky twist!

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add the chopped onion, carrots, and frozen peas to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef stock. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel and quarter the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper.

Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
