Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

While the cake is still warm, invert it onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar. Carefully remove the parchment paper.

Spread the guava paste evenly over the cake. Starting from one of the short ends, tightly roll the cake using the towel to help you.

Place the rolled cake on a wire rack and let it cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar. Slice and serve.
