  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine guava puree, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the guava puree mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Begin and end with the guava mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, spread whipped cream over the top of the cake. Garnish with guava slices and mint leaves.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
