  • 2 cup Green Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
  • 1 9-inch Pie Crust
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced green tomatoes, sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
  5. Cover the pie with the second pie crust and seal the edges.
  6. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
