Ingredients
  • 1 box Chocolate cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon Mint extract
  • 4 drop Green food coloring
  • 2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Mint chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoon Chocolate shavings
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions. Add mint extract and green food coloring. Mix well.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for the recommended time on the package.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
  5. In a separate mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold in mint chocolate chips.
  7. Cut the cooled cake into two or three layers horizontally.
  8. Place one layer of cake on a serving plate and spread a layer of whipped cream mixture on top.
  9. Repeat with the remaining layers, ending with a layer of whipped cream on top.
  10. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  12. Slice and enjoy!
