  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup Whole milk
  • 1 cup Toffee bits
  • 0.5 cup Sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the toffee bits. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. While the cake is still warm, poke holes all over the top with a skewer or fork.
  8. In a small saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream over low heat until warm.
  9. Pour the warm milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
  10. Let the cake cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, remove from the pan and serve.
