  2. In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the mashed bananas to the butter mixture, mixing well.
  7. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and buttermilk to the banana mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  8. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
