  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add cold water to the flour mixture, mixing until the dough comes together.
  5. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll each portion into a circle.
  6. Place a portion of the apple mixture onto one half of each dough circle. Fold the other half over the filling and press the edges to seal.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the pies until golden brown on both sides.
