  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust according to the package instructions and press it into a pie dish.
  3. Bake the pie crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool.
  6. Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them.
  7. Arrange the sliced strawberries on the cooled pie crust.
  8. Pour the cooled sugar mixture over the strawberries.
  9. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to allow it to set.
  10. Serve with whipped cream on top.
