Ingredients
  • 200 gram Pie Crust
  • 1 cup Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • 4 unit Egg Yolks
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 4 unit Egg Whites
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the pie crust ingredients and press into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, lemon zest, egg yolks, and sweetened condensed milk. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy. Add the sugar and cream of tartar, and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Spread the meringue over the lemon filling, making sure to seal the edges.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meringue is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
