Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.

Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Trim the edges.

Pour the blueberry mixture into the pie crust.

Dot the top of the filling with small pieces of unsalted butter.

Cover the pie with the remaining pie crust, sealing the edges. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
