  • 1.5 cup Pie Crust
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1.5 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream
  • to taste for garnish Chocolate Shavings
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pie crust, melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder. Press the mixture into a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the cocoa powder and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  7. Pour the filling into the cooled pie crust and smooth the top.
