  7. Beat the egg with water to make an egg wash.
  8. Brush the egg wash over the lattice crust.
  9. Bake the pie for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Let the pie cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
