Ingredients
  • 1 pound Chicken
  • 1 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 teaspoon Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 sheet Puff Pastry Sheets
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk.
  6. Add the frozen mixed vegetables, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
  8. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish.
  9. Place the puff pastry sheets on top, sealing the edges.
  10. Cut slits in the pastry to allow steam to escape.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  12. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
