In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Mix in the Frangelico liqueur.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Fold in the sour cream and chopped chocolate.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar and Frangelico liqueur.
