  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the ground almonds, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  5. Spoon a tablespoon of mandarin marmalade into each muffin cup. Top with the almond batter, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
