  • 200 gram Dark chocolate
  • 150 gram Unsalted butter
  • 150 gram Granulated sugar
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together over a pan of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour before serving.
