Ingredients
  • 500 gram Fish fillets
  • 300 gram Potatoes
  • 2 teaspoon Fresh herbs (such as parsley and dill)
  • 1 teaspoon Red chiles (finely chopped)
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them.
  2. In a bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, fish fillets (cooked and flaked), fresh herbs, red chiles, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix everything together until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the fish cakes until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Remove from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite sauce or dip.
