Ingredients
  • 500 gram Fish fillets
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 unit Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them.
  2. In a separate bowl, flake the fish fillets.
  3. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and parsley.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flaked fish, chopped onion, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix well and shape the mixture into patties.
  6. Coat each patty with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Fry the fish and potato cakes until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Remove from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with a side of tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
