  5. Dot the top of the fruit with small pieces of butter.
  6. Cover the pie with another layer of pie crust or create a lattice pattern.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before serving.
