Fatai are a popular street food in Lebanon and are often enjoyed as a quick snack or appetizer.

In a pan, cook the ground beef until browned. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and parsley. Cook until the onion is soft.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, yogurt, baking powder, and salt. Knead the dough until smooth.

Divide the dough into small balls. Roll out each ball into a thin circle.

Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each circle of dough. Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape. Press the edges to seal.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the meat pies until golden brown on both sides.

Place the fried pies on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
