Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

In a bowl, mix the sliced peaches, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, remaining sugar, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract.

Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the milk until just combined.

Spread half of the flour mixture into the greased baking dish.

Layer the peach mixture on top, then sprinkle the remaining flour mixture over the peaches.
