Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Sugar
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 60 milliliter Milk
  • 10 drop Food coloring (assorted colors)
  • 100 gram Powdered sugar
  • 50 gram Butterfly-shaped sprinkles
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
  6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
  7. Divide the batter equally into 4 bowls.
  8. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix well to create different colored batters.
  9. Spoon the colored batters into a greased and lined butterfly-shaped cake pan, alternating the colors to create a marbled effect.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Once cooled, dust the cake with powdered sugar and decorate with butterfly-shaped sprinkles.
