  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • for frying Vegetable oil
  • for dusting Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot.
  5. Pour the batter into a funnel or squeeze bottle, and carefully drizzle it into the hot oil in a spiral shape.
  6. Fry until golden brown, flipping once.
  7. Remove the funnel cake from the oil and drain on paper towels.
