Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Pie crust
  • 1.5 cup Pecans
  • 0.5 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 large Eggs
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the saucepan. Stir until well combined and the sugars have dissolved.
  5. In a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs.
  6. Slowly pour the melted butter mixture into the beaten eggs, whisking constantly to prevent the eggs from cooking.
  7. Stir in the pecans.
  8. Pour the pecan mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the pie cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.
