Ingredients
  • 200 gram Pie crust
  • 300 gram Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 200 gram Gouda cheese, grated
  • 200 gram Cream cheese
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 piece Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated cheddar cheese, gouda cheese, cream cheese, eggs, milk, sautéed onion and garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and fresh parsley. Mix well.
  4. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a pie dish. Pour the cheese mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before serving.
  7. Slice and serve the Elaine's Cheese Pie Royale warm.
