Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the chopped parsley and grated cheddar cheese, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the pound cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Transfer the pound cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely before serving.
