  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the vegetable oil, non-dairy milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the boiling water to the batter, stirring constantly until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
