Ingredients
  • 2 cup Pie Crust
  • 4 large Apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Butter (unsalted, melted)
  • 1/4 cup Caramel Sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one pie crust and press it into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the sliced apples, raisins, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Roll out the second pie crust and cut it into strips.
  6. Create a lattice pattern on top of the apple filling with the pie crust strips.
  7. Brush the melted butter over the lattice crust.
  8. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  9. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  10. Drizzle caramel sauce over each slice of pie before serving.
