In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

In the meantime, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
