Ingredients
  • 400 gram Chicken Breast
  • 1 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 sheet Puff Pastry Sheets
  • 1 beaten Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
  3. Add the chicken breast, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
  4. Stir in the all-purpose flour until well combined.
  5. Gradually pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream while stirring continuously. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  6. Add the frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Remove the skillet from the heat and let the filling cool for 10 minutes.
  8. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into circles slightly larger than the individual serving bowls.
  9. Divide the filling among the serving bowls and top each bowl with a puff pastry circle.
  10. Brush the puff pastry with beaten egg.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown.
  12. Allow the pot pies to rest for a few minutes before serving.
