  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the vegetable oil, milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Once the cake is completely cooled, dust it with powdered sugar.
