  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the coconut mixture.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and almond extract.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Invert the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar.
  11. Slice and serve.
