Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, cook the diced chicken breast until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Add the frozen mixed vegetables and cook until heated through.

Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to coat.

Slowly pour in the chicken stock while stirring constantly.

Add the milk, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture thickens.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and mix well.

Roll out one of the pie crusts and place it in a pie dish.

Pour the chicken and vegetable mixture into the pie crust.

Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the filling.

Trim and crimp the edges of the pie crust.

Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.

Beat the egg and brush it over the top crust.
