  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 3/4 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until the dough comes together. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it a few times until it is smooth. Roll out the dough to about 1/2-inch (1 cm) thickness. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
