Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and chopped walnuts. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the coffee cake to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
