  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. Peel, core, and slice the apples.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Add the sliced apples to the bowl and toss to coat them in the sugar mixture.
  6. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  7. Dot the top of the pie with small pieces of butter.
  8. Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut it into thin strips.
  9. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie with the strips of crust.
  10. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  11. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
